I cant wait for the Hunger Games movie! I read the books
recently and cant get enough of the dystopian future Panam! I also couldn’t
read enough about the tasty treats Katniss and Peeta got to eat during their
games. Especially those cheese buns! Well I found “The Unofficial Hunger Games
Cookbook.”
While many of the recopies in the cookbook are unlikely to ever be
made by me (how often do you run across pheasant and rabbit at your local
grocery store) others are sure to become a staple in my recipe repertoire! I
have already made Peeta’s cheese buns and boy were they good! On my list are
the seaweed buns (even though my fiancé has already turned his nose to them)
and the lamb and dried plum stew! I cant wait!
